Charles has built a career over the last decade across the West Coast at private, university and non-profit based community media television operations. His previous experience is as a print, radio and television reporter focused on local government and politics, and he served as a member of the ACLU of Northern California Board of Directors for six years. Charles received two WAVE Awards in 2019 & 2020 for excellence in programming.
