The FCC is hosting a virtual forum on the State of Captioning Online Video on December 2. It will feature both policy and technical innovations and could reflect possible changes in FCC policy in coming years with new leadership.  The event is free and you can send in live questions to the panels.  Click here for more information on the event.

Meanwhile, it looks like there may be additional nomination hearings and votes in the Senate Commerce Committee on the Biden Administration’s nominees to the Commission in early December.  We’ll keep you posted as they are scheduled.
