Welcome to the Heart of the Midwest: An Evening of Connection, Celebration, and Community

 As part of the 2026 ACM National Conference, join us for a special Fundraiser & Meet-andGreet Event on Monday, June 22, at Delta Beer Lab, hosted by the ACM Midwest Region and Wisconsin Community Media (WCM). This evening is more than just a gathering, it's a celebration of Midwest hospitality, a showcase of local flavor, and a chance to connect with media makers, advocates, and leaders from across the country.
 
What to Expect
• A Taste of Wisconsin & the Midwest: Enjoy locally sourced food, regional beverages, and Wisconsin’s signature charm — from
cheese curds to craft brews, it’s all about sharing the best of what the Midwest has to
offer.

• Meet & Greet the PEG Community: Whether you’re a longtime ACM member or a first-time attendee, this is your chance to
network with friends, colleagues, and new faces in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
• Support Community Media: This event also serves as a fundraiser to support the mission of ACM Midwest and
Wisconsin for Community Media- WCM — helping to sustain training programs, regional outreach, and local media access across our states.

In the spirit of “Midwest Nice,” this event reflects the values that define community media: connection, inclusion, and empowerment. As we welcome attendees from across the country to Madison, we invite everyone to experience the collaborative energy that makes the Midwest a powerful voice in the public media movement.
