Emerging Leaders Institute 2020

The 2020 edition of the ACM Foundation’s Emerging Leaders Institute led by Paula Manley and Toni Tabora-Roberts kicks off this Friday with an expanded class of 22 students from around the country!

My thanks to all the individual donors who helped support this year’s Institute and our turn to a virtual format.  Because of those donations, we were able to expand and diversify the class and make the sessions more affordable.

I’ll share a report later this fall after the Institute wraps up, but this year looks very exciting.  Good luck to all the participants!

Earned Income Solutions Wednesday, October 14

We’ll be talking about ways stations can use Earned Income to help diversify revenue and strengthen mission activities next week on Wednesday, October 14 at 3 pm as part of our Stay at Home workshop series.  Be sure to register here for this and other workshops later this fall. The series is supported by our sponsors Cablecast Community Media, Telvue, NewTek, LiveU and Keycode Media.

Join me at the Water Cooler!

It was nice to see folks this past week at the virtual Water Cooler – It’s a good way to keep in contact with old friends AND meet new ones in our field. I hope you’ll join me this week if you have a moment or two. I’ll post times for getting together by video on the ACM Listserv.
