Help ACM Invest in Young Community Media Talent

That’s the appeal from Marty Jones in Gresham, OR, who’s one of the folks who has already stepped up to make a contribution to our crowdfunding campaign to support grassroots leadership and professional education through our Grassroots Scholarship Fund.
We’re a week into the campaign, and we’re a little less than half-way to our goal! Join the chorus of folks who are making a tax-deductible gift to the ACM Foundation online here and who are supporting the education and development of future community media leaders.

ACM’s Strategic Plan
I’ll be meeting with the ACM Northeast Region Board of Directors early next month to help them think through strategic directions. While I love the idea of visiting Vermont in early April (is it maple sugar time yet?), I’m just as committed to working with our National Board and regional leadership around the country to make sure we are coordinating our work to serve members well, and to build membership nationally.
That’s why when the ACM Board of Directors codified a three-year strategic plan earlier this year, one of the first things I did was share it with all our regional Boards of Directors.
