The Pasadena Community Access Corporation (Pasadena Media) is a non-profit Operating Company of the City of Pasadena with a City Council appointed 11-member Board of Directors and serves as the umbrella organization for the City’s Public, Education and Government (PEG) cable access channels. Pasadena Media has an annual operating budget of approximately $1M, mostly funded by Pasadena City Council approval. There are 9 full-time and 5 part-time staff to manage production, programming and training operations for Pasadena’s community access channel, the “Arroyo Channel” and Pasadena’s local. government channel, “KPAS”. Pasadena Media provides additional support as needed to the Pasadena Unified School District education channel, “KLRN-Pasadena” and Pasadena City College education channel “PCC-TV”. Pasadena Media operates a modern, high-definition TV production studio and media training facility at 150 S. Los Robles Ave. that opened in April 2014.
