Alliance for Community Media Executive Director Sylvia Strobel Appointed to FCC’s Diversity Committee

ALLIANCE FOR COMMUNITY MEDIA EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR SYLVIA STROBEL APPOINTED TO FCC’S DIVERSITY COMMITTEE
(McLean, VA, September 29, 2011) – The Alliance for Community Media (ACM) is pleased to announce that Sylvia Strobel, ACM Executive Director and the Immediate Past Chair of the National Board of Directors of the Alliance for Women in Media, has been appointed to the Federal Communications Commission’s re-chartered Federal Advisory Committee on Diversity for Communications in the Digital Age (“Diversity Committee”). The Diversity Committee’s mission is to advise the Commission regarding policies and practices that will enhance diversity in the telecommunications and related industries.
