APPLAUDS OPPONENTS OF AT&T MERGER
(McLean, VA, December 20, 2011) – Yesterday, AT&T announced that it had ended its bid to buy T-Mobile. The Alliance for Community Media’s (ACM), Executive Director Sylvia Strobel made the following statement:
“We appreciate the work of so many individuals, organizations and governmental agencies to ascertain the facts and figures of this proposed transaction were known, and the public interest was protected.” said Sylvia Strobel, Executive Director of the Alliance for Community Media.
