Open Position: Media Center Director of Operations
We seek an experienced television and video production manager with advanced leadership and strategic thinking skills. LIAA’s UpNorth Media Center Director of Operations is the lead worker and project manager for northwest lower Michigan’s only public access and government access television stations. The Director of Operations guides the day-to-day operations of the media center, including public education and outreach efforts, special video productions and services, recruitment and coordination of volunteer and staff efforts, and overall community video program development.

The successful candidate will be a creative, friendly and engaging person with several years of experience in video production technology and television services. We expect truly excellent communication skills, real dedication to community service and lots of personal initiative. We prefer a person with one or more relevant degrees (e.g., communications, television services, journalism) and advanced technology skills.
