Join us in Chicago July 31-August 2, 2012 for the Alliance for Community Media 2012 Conference & Exhibition. This year’s theme is Collaborate! The conference focus will support the growth of business opportunities for community media centers.

Day 1 is an intensive approach to technology to help expand your knowledge and skills using new media tools. The agenda includes technical work shops, half-day training and the Exhibit Hall. We will also offer a Non-Profit Executive Leadership Track on Day 1 for senior managers and board members. You will hear keynotes by noted professionals, educational workshops and networking events. Day 2-3 hear from experts on fundraising, community engagement,  public policy, youth media and more. The Hometown Media Awards dinner is on Wednesday evening.

8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. – Opening Plenary, Workshops, Regional Meetings

3:30 – 5:00 p.m. – ACM Annual Membership Meeting

6:00 – 8:00 p.m. – Hometown Media Awards

August 2, 2012

8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Workshops and Closing Plenary

A tentative program schedule for workshops will be posted on the ACM website the first week in May.  Please note that there are NO pre-conference workshops this year.

Cancellation Policy: Written notice of cancellation to ACM headquarters must be received on or before June 30, 2012 and will result in a 50% refund. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after June 30, 2012. No-shows are non-refundable. Substitutions are welcomed however. Please include the original attendee’s name and the substitute’s full contact information. All requests for cancellations and substitutions should be submitted to info@allcommunitymedia.org.
